中程の左絶壁面に「龍角峯」の摩崖を見る事ができます。
天竜川の景観を代表する「龍角峯」は高さ７０m余の堂々たる一枚岩で出来ています。
天竜川の深淵に住む龍が天に昇ったときにできた「龍の化身」と伝えられます。
